Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Trainer for the South Region to deliver engaging training across the business. The role involves classroom and virtual sessions, induction support, and the development of up-to-date learning materials. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide are essential.

You will work with the Learning & Development team to identify needs, measure impact, and contribute to ongoing staff development within a national care organisation.

Qualifications

• Recognised training qualification (AET, CET, DET, PTLLS, CTTLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent).
• Experience delivering training to a range of audiences.
• Knowledge of classroom and remote delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom and virtual training sessions to colleagues across the business.
• Support induction programmes, mandatory training and specialist learning initiatives.
• Create and update learning materials to stay current and compliant.
• Work with operational teams and subject matter experts to identify learning needs.

You'll deliver engaging training programmes using a variety of learning methods, support the introduction of new services and initiatives, and help ensure our teams have the skills they need to provide outstanding support to the people we care for.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging classroom and virtual training sessions to colleagues across the business.
• Supporting induction programmes, mandatory training and specialist learning initiatives.
• Creating and updating learning materials to ensure they remain current, relevant and aligned with legislation and best practice.
• Working closely with operational teams and subject matter experts to identify learning needs.
• Evaluating training effectiveness and continuously improving the learner experience.
• Providing advice and support on training and development matters.
• Playing a key part in developing innovative learning solutions that support our growing organisation.

About You

We're looking for someone who can engage, motivate and inspire learners from a variety of backgrounds.

You’ll ideally have:

• A recognised training qualification such as AET, CET, DET, PTLLS, CTTLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent.
• Experience delivering training programmes to a range of audiences.
• Knowledge of different learning and assessment methods, including both classroom and remote delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational and IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide, including occasional overnight stays.
