Duties & Responsibilities:

• Dealing with multiple drivers
• Communicating with ports
• Booking delivery slots for entry into ports
• Using a transport system called TOPS for scheduling drivers' start and finish times
• Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring punctuality
• Rerouting jobs as needed
• Checking all PODs are matched with correct jobs on the system
• Communicating delays to customers and advising ETAs

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Intermodal Transport Operator – Essential
• Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Quick and efficient problem-solving skills
• Organised at all times
• Flexibility to meet business demands
