Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Milton Keynes to deliver electrical building services designs across large industrial, commercial and residential schemes, from concept to construction. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, mentor junior engineers and liaise with clients and contractors.

A degree in Electrical/Building Services, strong Amtech/Dialux skills, and consultancy experience are essential; chartership is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proven consultancy background with intermediate to senior level experience in electrical design.
• Strong technical grounding across lighting, power, fire alarm, small power and distribution design.
• Comfortable using Amtech, Dialux or similar design software.
• Experience across industrial, commercial or logistics sectors would be a strong advantage.
• Chartered or working towards chartership is desirable but not essential.
• A collaborative, hands on approach with the confidence to take ownership of your own projects.

A well-established, multidisciplinary building services consultancy is looking to strengthen its electrical design team with an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer. With over 40 years in the industry and a client list spanning some of the biggest names in industrial, commercial and logistics property, this is a business that has built its reputation on practical, buildable MEP solutions rather than just paper designs. They’ve had an exceptionally strong start to the year already and are growing across both their Milton Keynes and London offices to keep pace with demand.

The Role
