Job summary

Construkt RS Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Milton Keynes to design and deliver mechanical building services across a variety of projects. You will work with HVAC, domestic water and drainage systems, producing calculations, drawings and reports.

Ideal candidates will have UK-building services experience, familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit MEP, and a solid understanding of UK regulations. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and clients in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical building services design within an M&E consultancy or similar environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and building services principles.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
• Understanding of UK building regulations, CIBSE guidance and industry standards.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical building services systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), domestic water services and drainage.
• Produce detailed mechanical design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports.
• Work closely with electrical engineers, architects, contractors and other design consultants.
• Ensure designs comply with current building regulations, industry standards and relevant legislation.
• Support projects from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery.
• Attend design meetings and liaise with clients and project stakeholders.
• Assist with site surveys, inspections and resolving technical design issues.

We are working with an established Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Consultancy based in Milton Keynes who are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to work on a variety of building services projects, delivering innovative, carbon and energy-efficient mechanical design solutions across the built environment.

Key Responsibilities
