Job summary

Coleman James is seeking an ambitious Mechanical Engineer for a North West building services consultancy. The role covers design development, drawings and calculations, and close liaison with clients and the design team.

You will plan workloads, produce and review documents, and author letters, reports and specifications. This position offers progression toward senior levels for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Familiar with AutoCAD/REVIT.
• Experience with industry standard calculation programs (Hevacomp, Cymap, IES).
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The Role

• Responsible for design development, including drawings and calculations.

Skills/Experience

• Sound technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
• AutoCAD / REVIT familiarity (although not critical)
• Familiar with industry standard calculation programmes, e.g Hevacomp / Cymap / IES.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
