THE ROLE
My client is seeking an Intermediate Employer's Agent to join their team in Birmingham.
You should have experience as a Building Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, or Project Manager, and either have some experience as an Employer's Agent or be eager to move into this role.
You will work on high-value projects in housing or education sectors.
THE COMPANY
The client is a successful, sizable construction consultancy with multiple UK offices, offering services such as cost management, project management, building surveying, and employer's agent services.
Their clients are mainly in the public and private sectors.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor, or Project Manager, preferably MRICS qualified or about to complete APC.
Experience in administering contracts, especially Design & Build, is required.
You will manage contractual processes, oversee cost management, ensure project delivery within time and budget, and monitor quality and progress on-site.
Excellent client-facing skills, confidence, articulation, and proficient English for formal reports are essential.
The salary is negotiable, likely between £40,000 and £50,000 annually, with benefits including a pension scheme, life assurance (4x salary), health plan, paid professional fees, and biannual salary reviews.
