Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in Birmingham is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to contribute to electrical building services designs across healthcare, commercial, education and residential sectors. Qualifications

• A degree, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience designing electrical building services systems.
• Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech or Dialux.
• Understanding of current building regulations and industry standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Desire to work towards professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Producing electrical building services designs including power, lighting, small power and associated systems.
• Undertaking design calculations and preparing technical reports.
• Assisting with the preparation of specifications and tender documentation.
• Coordinating designs with mechanical, sustainability and BIM teams.
• Attending design team meetings, client meetings and site visits.
• Supporting projects through all RIBA stages.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join a growing building services consultancy in Birmingham. This independent engineering consultancy has been delivering innovative building services solutions for over 25 years, earning an excellent reputation across the healthcare, commercial, education, residential, life sciences, leisure and public sectors. The Role

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across a wide range of sectors. Working alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will support projects from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will ideally have:
