Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood, is offering a 2-year Interior Trim Project Planning Graduate programme. You will join the Technical Planning Department for Interior Manufacturing, contributing to industrialisation of trim parts from concept to release for series production.

You will balance design and engineering requirements, ensure cost and quality targets, and collaborate with stakeholders to minimize wastes while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Manufacturing or related field.
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing or engineering principles.
• Analytical mindset with structured problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Interest in Luxury and Automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new products, features and change requests including costs and space needs.
• Assess manufacturing feasibility to reduce costs, defects, and improve throughput.
• Plan process, costs and timing for CAD releases to show manufacturing approach.
• Ensure legal requirements are met and manage process documents (APQP, PFMEAs, etc.).
• Detail equipment specs, raise POs, manage suppliers and coordinate installation.
• Project manage installation of high-scope projects with H&S compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement of the manufacturing process to hit KPI targets.
