Job summary

Urban Planters, a UK planting company, is seeking an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician to service tropical plants across a wide range of businesses. You will perform routine maintenance, watering, feeding and pest control to keep displays healthy and attractive.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, based in Greater London and Home Counties, with training provided and opportunities for progression. A friendly team environment and professional standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous however full training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
• Maintain artificial plant displays
• Assist with plant display installations
• Assist with seasonal installations
• Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
• Comply with relevant health and safety
• Building good supplier and customer relationships
• Be mindful of possible sales opportunities

Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

Location:Greater London & Home Counties

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £29,200 p/a

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.
