Urban Planters is seeking an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician in Brentwood. This full-time role involves maintaining tropical plant displays across multiple client sites, with a focus on high-quality service, professionalism and timely reporting.

You will join a friendly team in a busy, fast-paced business that values progression and development. The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driver’s licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous however full training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
• Maintain artificial plant displays
• Assist with plant display installations
• Assist with seasonal installations
• Ensure maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
• Comply with health and safety requirements
• Build supplier and customer relationships
• Be mindful of possible sales opportunities

Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

We are happiest while we are landscaping, installing indoor planting schemes or maintaining the plants or grounds of our clients.

Job Description

Location: Brentwood

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £29,200

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base. Your main duties will include:

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays

• Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
• Comply with relevant health and safety

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK drivers licence

• Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
• Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance
• Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
