Job summary

Urban Planters is seeking an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician to maintain tropical plants across a range of client sites in Exeter/Okehampton. This full-time role involves hands-on care, installations and documentation within a busy plant service team.

You will water, feed and pest-control live displays, replace dying plants, maintain artificial displays, and assist with installations; health and safety compliance and good supplier/customer relations are also key.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous.
• Qualification in horticulture is desirable but is not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous however full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays.
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays.
• Maintain artificial plant displays.
• Assist with plant display installations.
• Assist with seasonal installations.
• Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed.

Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

Location:Exeter/okehampton

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £26,700

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.
