Job summary

Urban Planters is seeking an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician to service our plants across Southampton, Portsmouth and Basingstoke. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary of £25,732 per year.

You will water, feed and control pests on live displays, replace plant displays as needed, and assist with installations both indoors and seasonally. A full UK driving licence is required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driver's licence required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge advantageous.
• Horticulture qualification desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role advantageous with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays.
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays.
• Maintain artificial plant displays.
• Assist with plant display installations.
• Assist with seasonal installations.
• Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed.
• Comply with health and safety requirements.
• Build good supplier and customer relationships.
• Be mindful of possible sales opportunities.

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
