Job summary

Urban Planters in Gloucestershire is seeking an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician to maintain tropical plants across a wide range of client sites. This full-time role includes watering, feeding, pest control, and occasional installations, with full training provided.

You will work in a busy team, with a supportive environment, and opportunities for progression within the interior and exterior planting sector. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; full training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
• Maintain artificial plant displays
• Assist with plant display installations
• Assist with seasonal installations
• Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
• Comply with health and safety requirements
• Build supplier and customer relationships
• Identify potential sales opportunities

Job description

Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

Location: Gloucestershire area

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £26,700

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays

• Comply with relevant health and safety
• Building good supplier and customer relationships
• Be mindful of possible sales opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK drivers licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

As part of your role, you will be required to;

• Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
