Job summary

The Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterarder is seeking an experienced Interior Gardener to join our Floristry team. You will care for indoor plants across the estate, develop planting plans, and collaborate with Marketing, Design, and Floristry to deliver spectacular presentation throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a stunning array of plants in indoor areas across the estate
• Care for and maintain all plants in bedrooms and indoor spaces; monitor watering and dusting
• Identify causes of poor presentation, pests, and diseases; treat and replace as required
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design to meet interior plant requirements
• Coordinate with Floristry team to develop bespoke features and arrangements
• Develop planting plans with Head of Floristry for year-round presentation
• Cultivate a functioning greenhouse producing plants for internal and external use
• Support Florist Assistants and Florists with plant species education
• Compile reports on area performance and improvements with Head of Floristry
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and maintain high standards
• Engage with guests to share knowledge and enhance their stay
