Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is assisting an established Hampshire-based business in finding an experienced Interim Year-End Accountant to support the finance team during a busy year-end and audit period.

You will manage the year-end audit process, liaise with external auditors, prepare schedules, and coordinate information requests across the business. ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent SME audit experience is essential.

Qualifications

• ACCA, ACA qualified, or possess equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong experience within owner-managed SMEs and group structures.
• Proven track record of personally managing multiple year-end audits from the company side.
• Experience acting as the key point of contact for external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the year-end audit process from planning through to final sign-off.
• Primary day-to-day contact between the business and external auditors.
• Preparing and reviewing audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Managing audit information requests and coordinating responses across the business.
• Resolving audit queries and ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
