Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience as Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Finance Director.
• Led statutory audit and year-end close for a UK trading company.
• Strong UK GAAP/FRS 102 grounding, including lease accounting.
• Multi-entity experience with intercompany reconciliation and consolidation inputs.
• Cashflow forecasting and treasury execution in cash-sensitive business.
• Line-management experience with a small transactional finance team.

Responsibilities

• Year-end close and audit from Feb to Jun 2026 with statutory accounts and corporate tax.
• Lead the external audit end-to-end as primary contact.
• Own month-end closure and monthly reporting across Xero, BrightAnalytics and Staffology.
• Manage cash, treasury and three-to-six month cash forecast; UK intercompany and cross-border transfers.
• Build and own budget and forecast models; support CFO board narrative.
• Maintain strong financial controls and UK statutory compliance.
