Job summary

SF Partners is recruiting an Interim Project Financial Controller to lead the FY25 UK audit project from the Burton upon Trent office. You will partner with the UK finance leadership team to drive delivery, manage external auditors, and ensure timely completion with robust technical accounting support.

This high-visibility interim assignment requires strong audit expertise and the ability to engage senior stakeholders, with the role running through to at least the end of 2026.

Qualifications

• ACA-qualified accountant with strong audit background.
• Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and external auditors.
• Ability to lead an audit project from initiation to sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of the FY25 UK audit process.
• Manage the relationship and deliverables with the external auditors.
• Coordinate audit requirements across UK finance teams.
• Ensure information, schedules and supporting documentation are delivered on time.
• Identify and resolve issues that could delay the audit.
• Work closely with senior finance stakeholders in the UK.
• Provide hands-on technical accounting support as needed.
