Qualifications

• Strong experience in accounting and finance within a larger business, running a larger technical finance team.
• UK based; current UK accounting standards and IFRS essential.
• A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and presentation of financial reports to stakeholders.
• Oversee accounting and finance operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes to support business goals.
• Supervise and develop a high-performing finance team (~50 people).
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls and risk management processes.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive financial strategy and decision-making.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial audits and statutory reporting.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.
