Job summary

NACBA is seeking an Interim Technical Accountant in Bristol for a 3-6 month period with hybrid working. The role focuses on acquisition accounting, consolidation, and FRS 102 compliance, supporting the audit and liaising with external auditors and lenders.

The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting experience in acquisitive environments and be a qualified accountant, ready to start at short notice.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting experience in a complex or acquisitive environment.
• Experience with group consolidations and acquisition accounting.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102.
• Experience working with auditors and lenders.
• Must be a qualified accountant.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technical accounting activities across the Group.
• Drive the audit, ensuring robust preparation and delivery.
• Provide expertise across acquisition accounting and consolidation.
• Ensure appropriate application of FRS 102.
• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors.
• Work with lenders and other financial stakeholders.
• Support complex accounting and reporting requirements.
• Provide practical input to the wider finance function.
