Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Interim Technical Accountant to support the business during a key growth period. The role focuses on acquisition accounting, consolidation and FRS 102, alongside delivering the audit.

The position is based in Bristol with hybrid working for a 3-6 month assignment. You will lead technical accounting activities, liaise with external auditors and lenders, and ensure robust accounting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting experience, ideally in a complex or acquisitive environment.
• Proven experience with group consolidations and acquisition accounting.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102.
• Experience working directly with auditors and lenders.
• Must be a qualified accountant.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate at senior stakeholder level.
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach with ability to make an immediate impact.
• Availability to start at short notice.
