Job summary

Panoramic Associates seeks an Interim Support Manager to provide short-term operational leadership and stability across a busy service in Norfolk. This hands-on assignment is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, embed best practice and support the team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

You will lead day-to-day operations, work with the Registered Manager on service improvement, and ensure safeguarding, risk management and care planning standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Support Manager / Deputy Manager / Service Manager role within older people's services.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and quality standards in social care.
• Capable of leading teams through change, stabilisation or improvement.
• Excellent communication skills with a calm, pragmatic approach.
• Willing to work on-site in Norfolk for a 3-6 month assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to the service, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery of support
• Support the Registered Manager with operational oversight and service improvement
• Maintain strong standards around safeguarding, risk management, medication processes and care planning
• Coach and support staff, including supervision, performance management and rota/staffing support
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies and best practice
• Liaise with families, external professionals and stakeholders to promote positive outcomes
• Support with audits, action plans, and ensuring documentation is consistently up to date
