Job summary

Keystone Care is seeking an Interim Support Manager to step into an elderly residential service in Leeds during the General Manager's absence. You will provide short-term leadership and operational oversight to ensure safe, effective care and continuity during the interim period.

The role focuses on stabilising the service, maintaining regulatory compliance with CQC and local authority requirements, and coordinating with families and external professionals to secure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management or senior supervisory role within elderly residential or similar adult social care settings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to stabilise and motivate teams during periods of change.
• Demonstrable understanding of CQC standards and local authority regulatory frameworks, with experience of inspections and audits.
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
• Competence in maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
