Job summary

Domus Recruitment is recruiting an Interim Service Manager for a national care provider supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will provide clear direction, management and supervision of a great staff team.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Manager in Health and Social Care, with Level 5 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.

4 day working weeks available, with quick start and ongoing support and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and local authority requirements.
• Experience managing Residential or Supported Living services for adults with Learning Disabilities.
• Background in recruiting staff and occupancy.
• Experience of line managing a large staff team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff to maximise potential through guidance and coaching.
• Manage budgets and financial performance of the service.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and raise care standards where needed.
• Maintain high care standards and effective staff management in the home.

Key Responsibilities of an Interim Service Manager

• Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance
• Responsible for budget management
• Adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary
• You will be required to maintain the high care standards that have been set in the home and be an excellent manager of staff

Interim Service Manager Requirements

• NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) or the ability to work towards
• Good knowledge and understanding of CQC, Health and Safety and Local Authority requirements
• Experience of managing Residential or Supported Livingservices for adults with Learning Disabilities
• A background in recruiting staff team and occupancy
• Experience of line managing a large staff team
