Job summary

TPP Recruitment is seeking a Senior Management Accountant (Grants) to join on an interim basis in Hertfordshire / North London. The role focuses on grant funding and management accounting, with responsibilities across monthly accounts, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

The successful candidate will bring fully qualified accounting credentials and solid experience in grant reporting, with strong stakeholder engagement and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven management accounting experience.
• Essential experience managing grant funding and grant reporting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and business partnering skills.
• Confident using Excel and finance systems.
• Able to work independently and build stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
• Provide financial analysis and business partnering support to budget holders.
• Monitor and report on grant-funded projects and restricted funding streams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements and financial controls.
• Assist with financial planning and process improvement initiatives.
