Job summary

The Search Core Ltd in London is seeking an Interim Management Accountant for a research portfolio on a 3-6 month day-rate contract. You will support senior accountants with grant-funded projects, producing timely management information, budgets, and reconciliations.

Ideal candidates are ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or early-stage studiers with experience in management or research/grant accounting, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Agresso.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or an experienced early-stage studier.
• Experience in management or research/grant accounting.
• Strong Excel skills (advanced level); Agresso experience is a bonus.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support a senior accountant with grant-funded research projects by providing management information, maintaining budgets and financial reconciliations.
• Prepare funder reports and ensure compliance with research finance processes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
