Harmonic Finance™ is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a rapidly scaling grocery brand in Central London. The role offers a chance to shape the finance strategy with significant responsibilities including statutory reporting, compliance, and partnership with Sales.

This position is pivotal as the first finance hire in the UK, providing a unique opportunity to establish processes and own the finance function as the company grows. You will work in a dynamic team dedicated to inclusivity and high performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in statutory reporting and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial analysis.
• Ability to work independently and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the full UK finance function including statutory reporting and tax compliance.
• Lead statutory audits and manage relationships with external advisors.
• Partner with Sales and Supply Chain for accurate trade spend accounting.

Skills

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP

Experience in a fast-growing branded consumer goods or grocery business
