Job Description:

Opportunity for an interim Senior Commercial Lawyer to join the Group legal team of a real estate focused private equity firm. This is an initial 6-month FTC to cover maternity leave, with potential to extend or go permanent.

Location: Central London, hybrid working 3-4 days/week in the office. Option for part-time, 4 days/week.

Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will take a lead role on commercial matters including:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts such as framework agreements, terms and conditions, supply of goods and services agreements, property management agreements.
• Responding to complex RFPs.
• Advising on broader IP and privacy matters.
• Leading procurement issues from a legal perspective, advising on risks, and managing disputes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years PQE, preferably gained in a similar in-house environment as a commercial lawyer.
• Experience in the real estate sector or related areas is advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge, contract drafting skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growth environment.
