Job summary

PSD Group, London-based, is seeking an Interim Asset Manager to oversee a diverse retail portfolio across the UK. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working in London.

You will drive asset performance, lead leasing initiatives, coordinate capital projects, and report to senior management on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in commercial asset management, retail or shopping centres
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
• Proven track record of driving asset value and performance improvements

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset management strategies to enhance the financial and operational performance of the property portfolio.
• Proactively identify and execute value-add opportunities, including lease re-gears, refurbishments and redevelopment projects.
• Oversee tenant relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention and timely rent collection.
• Manage and coordinate leasing activities, working closely with external agents to secure new tenants and negotiate lease renewals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and occupier demand to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and asset plans, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.
• Review and analyse property performance metrics, financial reports and valuations to assess risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with property management, finance and development teams to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of all assets.
• Oversee capital expenditure projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Report regularly to senior management and investors on portfolio performance and key strategic initiatives.
