Macdonald & Company is partnering with an international real estate investor to appoint an experienced Asset Manager who will oversee a portfolio of out-of-town retail parks, retail warehousing and trade counters.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification is essential.
• 3–5 years’ asset management experience in commercial property.
• Experience with out-of-town retail parks/retail warehousing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute asset-level business plans.
• Lead leasing strategy including rent reviews, renewals, regears and new lettings.
• Drive value through repositioning, refurbishment, development, acquisitions and disposals.
• Manage asset performance, budgets, service providers and occupier relationships.
• Support investment decisions through financial analysis, reporting and market insight.

I’m working with a privately owned international real estate investor that is looking to appoint an experienced Asset Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of out-of-town retail parks, retail warehousing and trade counters.

We’re looking for:

• MRICS qualified – essential

• Ideally, experience across out-of-town retail parks / retail warehousing
• A strong track record of driving performance through leasing and active asset management
• Excellent commercial, financial and negotiation skills
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to operate independently
