Job summary

Park Avenue Recruitment is assisting a Kent-based council in recruiting an Interim Voids Surveyor to support the housing service, reducing void turnaround times and improving the quality of empty homes before letting. The role is hybrid with a day rate of £385.

You will carry out void inspections, write specifications, coordinate repairs, monitor contractors and oversee void programmes from start to finish, ensuring compliance and timely lettings.

A Kent-based council is seeking an Interim Voids Surveyor to support its housing service in reducing void turnaround times and improving the quality of empty homes before letting.

With housing demand continuing to increase, the authority is focused on delivering properties back to residents as quickly as possible whilst maintaining high standards of compliance and quality. This role will play a crucial part in achieving those objectives.

The role will involve:
