Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Interim Registered Manager to lead a Kent-based children's home, ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent outcomes for young people. The role requires strong leadership, safeguarding expertise, and a background in Ofsted-regulated services.

The post targets candidates with proven experience as Registered Manager or senior Deputy, capable of embedding quickly and driving improvements within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Registered Manager in Ofsted-regulated children’s home or as Deputy Manager with substantial leadership
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
• Experience supporting children with EBD, complex behaviours, trauma, or challenging needs
• Excellent safeguarding and risk management knowledge
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the children's home.
• Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Promote outstanding safeguarding practice throughout the service.
• Support, motivate, and develop the staff team.
• Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections.
• Oversee care planning, risk management, and placement outcomes.
• Manage staffing, recruitment, performance, and rota management.
• Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, families, and partner agencies.
• Drive a culture focused on achieving positive outcomes for young people.
