Job summary

Reaseheath College and University Centre is recruiting an Interim Progress Coach to support a caseload of students, running weekly group tutorials and 1:1 coaching to help them progress in their studies and future lives.

You will signpost students to College services, track attendance and outcomes, and collaborate with staff to enhance the learner journey. A Level 3 qualification and a recognised Teaching Qualification (or progression toward one) are required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification is required.
• Recognised Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Some experience of working directly with students/young people.
• Some experience and/or knowledge of employability skills.
• Ability to develop effective relationships with students on a 1:1 and group basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one meetings with individual students to provide support.
• Monitor student progress, retention, attendance and achievement.
• Work closely with staff across the College to standardise the student experience.
• Provide academic coaching including study skills development as required.
• Complete all relevant administration for each student.
