Job summary

Festival of Work is seeking an experienced Interim People Change Specialist in London to lead organisational change programmes, working with HR, managers and change stakeholders. The role focuses on translating change strategies into practical delivery plans with a fair, people-centered approach.

This fixed-term contract (12–15 months) requires experience in restructuring, consultation and employee relations, and a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, consultation processes and employee relations practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage organisational change, restructuring and consultation activity.
• Develop consultation plans, communications, presentations and guidance for managers.
• Coach managers through consultation and implementation processes.
• Conduct or support individual and collective consultation meetings.
• Provide advice on redeployment, selection and redundancy processes.
• Identify risks and people impacts and support implementation challenges.
• Collaborate with HR, Employee Relations, Communications and Payroll teams.
• Analyse feedback to identify themes and opportunities for improvement.
• Support transition, implementation and post-change stabilisation activities.

Working closely with HR, managers and change stakeholders, you will help translate change strategies into practical delivery plans, ensuring change is implemented in a fair, consistent and people-focused way. This is an excellent opportunity for a change professional with experience in restructuring, consultation and employee relations who enjoys working directly with managers and colleagues to deliver successful outcomes. This role is for a fixed term contract of 12-15 months, to start ASAP.
