Qualifications

• Experience as a contract or governance professional.
• Ability to interpret contractual requirements into practical oversight.
• Strong assurance, compliance and performance management capabilities.
• Credible, analytical, and influential with stakeholders.
• Experience in housing, student accommodation, healthcare or service-led sectors is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive contract management framework.
• Establish governance and assurance structures for performance, compliance, and risk.
• Act as subject-matter expert on contractual obligations and guidance.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with legislation and internal policy.
• Monitor provider performance against KPIs, service standards and statutory requirements.
• Identify risks and lead corrective action plans.
• Manage key relationships with partners, authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve contractual breaches and poor performance.
• Lead on contract variations, change control and changes in law.
• Produce high-quality reports for senior management and the Board.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems and reporting.
