Job summary

Omega Plc in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Interim Project Engineer Manager to lead plant services and factory infrastructure projects within a major manufacturing expansion. The role focuses on FEED, URS and CAPEX development for utilities and manufacturing services.

You will manage scope, engage contractors, deliver milestones and ensure investment readiness, with an upfront start and potential extension up to 18 months; outside IR35 terms apply.

Qualifications

• FEED, CAPEX development experience.
• Experience within industrial manufacturing, building materials, FMCG, chemicals or heavy industry.
• Delivery of CAPEX expansion or site development projects.
• FEED, feasibility and front-end engineering experience.
• Experience developing URS and tender documentation.
• HNC, HND or Degree qualification in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Utilities & Factory Services leadership for plant infrastructure.
• Electrical infrastructure and power distribution oversight.
• Industrial pumping and wastewater/environmental systems management.
• FEED and feasibility activities for expansions and upgrades.
• URS development and contractor engagement across projects.
• Engineering governance, project planning and schedule development.
