Job summary

Staffline seeks an Interim Project Engineer Manager to lead manufacturing services and plant infrastructure workstreams for a major UK expansion project. The role covers utilities, factory services upgrades, FEED activities and feasibility studies, with post-Feasibility funding decisions in mind.

The engagement is on an outcomes-based basis, with on-site work and some hybrid elements in the East/West Midlands border region.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering utility and factory services projects in manufacturing.
• Ability to define scope, costs, risks, programme and investment requirements.
• FEED, front-end engineering, and early-stage project development experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilities & Factory Services development and upgrades.
• Electrical infrastructure and power distribution planning.
• Compressed air generation and distribution networks.
• Industrial pumping systems, wastewater treatment and environmental systems.
• Ventilation and extraction systems for plant services upgrades.
• FEED and feasibility activities; development of User Requirements Specifications (URS).
• Tendering, contractor engagement and OEM coordination.
• Management of engineering work packages and project milestones.
