Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an Interim Project Engineer Manager for a major UK manufacturing expansion. The role covers defining and supporting project scope, technical solution and investment readiness, with an emphasis on factory services and utility upgrades.

You will work within a confidential NDA framework, delivering milestones autonomously through your Limited Company, with experience in FEED, CAPEX and process manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Proven manufacturing project engineering experience.
• FEED and CAPEX development experience.
• Experience with front-end engineering and feasibility studies.

Responsibilities

• Utilities & Factory Services management, including electrical infrastructure and power distribution.
• Design and deliver industrial utilities and process utilities projects.
• Oversee compressed air generation and distribution networks.
• Manage pumping systems, wastewater treatment and environmental systems.
• Oversee ventilation, extraction and ancillary plant upgrades.
• Coordinate FEED and feasibility activities for project milestones.
• Develop URS, issue tenders and engage OEMs/contractors.
• Coordinate engineering work packages among consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain governance, reporting and project scheduling.

Education

HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering
