Job summary

iMultiply is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to drive job profitability analysis and project costing within a fast-moving, project-driven environment in the UK. You will deliver insights for monthly management reporting, leveraging Sage 200 and advanced Excel while contributing to ERP system improvements slated for mid-2024 go-live.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in management accounting within project-driven or industrial sectors.
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience with job costing, gross margins, and cost of sales analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Sage 200 or similar.

With private equity backing and plans to enhance their systems, they are seeking an interim professional to provide expertise in financial analysis and reporting.

THE ROLE

As Interim Management Accountant, you will deliver financial insights that improve job costing processes and monthly management reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced systems knowledge, and a hands-on approach to data management and reporting.

MANDATORY

• Proven experience in management accounting within project-driven or industrial sectors.
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience with job costing, gross margins, and cost of sales analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Sage 200 or similar tools.
• Immediate availability and ability to work onsite.
• Demonstrable ability to produce accurate financial insights for stakeholders.

PREFERRED

• Experience in private equity-backed organisations.
• Knowledge of ERP implementation processes.
• Prior consulting or interim financial experience.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial insights.
• Flexibility for potential contract extensions or part-time work arrangements.

ON OFFER

• Competitive salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum (pro-rata).
• Temporary contract from 3 months with the potential to go much longer
