Job summary

Baltimore Consulting Limited seeks an experienced Assistant Director – Commissioning, SEND & Transformation for a high-profile transformation programme in children’s services. The 6-month interim contract starts ASAP and pays £800 per day, inside IR35 via umbrella, with hybrid working.

Qualifications

Significant senior leadership experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders, elected members and partner organisations.
Strong understanding of SEND, education, healthcare or local government environments.
Proven track record of balancing strategic leadership with operational delivery.
Experience in programme management, performance improvement and organisational change.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of a major SEND Transformation Programme and improvement agenda.
Drive cross-system change with education, health and key partner organisations.
Provide strategic leadership across complex transformation, commissioning and capital projects.
Ensure effective programme governance, management of risks, dependencies and outcomes.
Deliver sustainable improvements alongside cost containment and value for money initiatives.
