Job summary

Baltimore Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior SEND Case Officer on a 3-6 month initial contract with an immediate start. The role allows remote working and offers £330 per day inside IR35 via umbrella. You will manage complex cases, mentor colleagues and contribute to service improvement from day one.

This interim opportunity requires strong public sector experience, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Interviews are imminent.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex casework within a public sector or regulated environment.
• Strong mentoring or supervisory experience guiding juniors and new staff.
• Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex and varied caseload and ensure timely progression.
• Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues across the team.
• Mentor and buddy new starters to build capability and confidence.
• Contribute to service improvements through knowledge sharing and casework management.
• Support tribunal-related work with professional oversight when required.
