Job summary

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Interim Head of IT to lead our digital strategy, information governance and ICT services for a six-month period. You will assure reliable business-critical systems, improve cyber security and ensure data protection compliance.

You will drive digital transformation, manage budgets, lead a growing ICT team and foster strong stakeholder relationships with clinical and admin colleagues.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior ICT leadership, interim management or transformation role.
• Experience operating in regulated environments such as healthcare, charity or public sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading cyber security, information governance and data protection compliance.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic leadership on technology, cyber security, data governance and digital transformation.
• Ensuring stable and effective ICT operations and service delivery.
• Leading digital infrastructure, cloud services, networks and system improvements.
• Acting as the organisation's Information Governance Lead.
• Ensuring compliance with UK GDPR, Data Protection legislation and NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit requirements.
• Leading and developing the ICT team.
• Improving reporting, data governance and organisational use of information.
• Strengthening business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements.
• Producing recommendations and future plans to support long-term digital success.
