Job summary

Alexander Lloyd is working with a London-based insurance organisation to recruit an Interim HR Advisor for a short-term period. The role is office-based in London, requiring one day per week (35 hours) with a salary around £50,000 per year, commenced September–December 2026.

Working alongside the HR team, you’ll manage day-to-day HR operations, contracts, HR documentation and support managers with absence, capability and performance matters.

Qualifications

• Proven HR Advisor experience within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritise effectively.
• HRIS and administration experience.

Our client, a successful insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Interim HR Advisor to join its People team during a period of significant organisational change. This is a fast-paced environment where you’ll need to hit the ground running and provide hands‑on HR support across a variety of operational HR activities.

Working alongside the HR team, you’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day HR operations, including:

• Managing the HR inbox and first-line HR queries
• Producing contracts, variations and HR documentation
• Supporting managers with absence, capability and performance management matters
• Providing practical HR advice and guidance to line managers

We’re looking for a proactive HR professional with strong generalist experience, excellent organisational skills and the confidence to work independently while supporting managers through complex people issues.
