Job summary

Gleeson-Recruitment-Group is seeking an experienced Interim HR Business Partner for a fast-paced manufacturing business in Dudley. The role is a 6-month FTC, on-site five days a week, reporting to the HR Manager.

You will deliver hands-on HR support across employee relations, performance management and recruitment, coaching managers, and guiding the full employee lifecycle in a unionised environment.

Qualifications

• Proven HRBP experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER practices.
• Experience advising managers on performance and disciplinary matters.
• Experience supporting recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a unionised environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing and advising on complex employee relations cases, including conduct, disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.
• Supporting managers with performance management and formal processes.
• Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence and capability in handling people issues.
• Supporting recruitment and selection, identifying requirements and ensuring effective onboarding.

Interim HR Business Partner (52813) Dudley, England

Salary: GBP50000 - GBP53000 per annum

I am sourcing an experienced hands on HR Business Partner for an initial 6 month FTC to support a fast paced manufacturing business based in Dudley West Midlands . This role is based 5 days onsite reporting into the HR Manager with flexibility.

You will be provide hands on, operational HR support with a key focus on Employee Relations, performance management recruitment. You will work closely with managers, providing coaching, guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle

Interim HR Business Partner Key responsibilities:

• Managing and advising on complex employee relations cases, including conduct, disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.
• Supporting managers with performance management, including setting clear expectations, managing underperformance and providing guidance through formal processes.
• Coaching and supporting managers to build their confidence and capability in handling people issues.
• Supporting recruitment and selection, working with managers to identify requirements, support recruitment processes and ensure effective selection and onboarding.
• Advising managers throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to performance, development and employee relations.
• Supporting initiatives to improve employee engagement and manager capability.

Interim HR Business Partner Key Skills:

• Proven experience within an Employee Relations focused HR role, ideally at HR Business Partner level withing a manufacturing or similar business.
• Strong, practical knowledge of UK employment law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Extensive experience advising and coaching managers through complex ER and performance management matters.
• Experience supporting recruitment and selection processes.
• Experience of working within a unionised environment would be highly desirable.
