Brava Education is assisting a small special school in the East Midlands to recruit an Interim Headteacher to join from Monday 26 October. The role is on-site, full-time, five days a week, with a focus on stabilising leadership and safeguarding a nurturing, neuro-inclusive environment.

You will lead with calm, structured systems, support staff, and may include some teaching, ideally outdoor learning, while the school continues to prioritise pupils with autism, ADHD and other needs.

The role

This is a hands-on headship within a small special school. The school takes a nurturing, neuro-inclusive approach and supports pupils with autism, ADHD and other additional needs.

The school has a committed staff team, and your priority will be to bring structure, steady leadership and strong support, putting clear systems in place so staff can focus on teaching and pupils can thrive.

The role may include some teaching, ideally outdoor learning, although this can be worked around.

Terms
