Job summary

So Energy is seeking an Interim Head of Solar and EV Installation to lead a high‑performing team across Solar, Storage and EV charger installation. You’ll own the end‑to‑end journey from lead generation to delivery and aftercare, and you’ll drive profitability and strategic growth through commercial insights and supplier partnerships.

You will oversee forecasting and budgeting, support governance, and ensure compliance while delivering a great customer experience in a hybrid work environment in

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Solar and Storage and EV charger installation.
• Experience in lead gen, sales, operational delivery and commercial performance.
• Experience managing people and supplier relationships.
• Commercial awareness and analytical ability to influence targets.
• Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements for solar and EV installations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Solar, Storage and EV charger installation journeys from lead-to-delivery and aftercare.
• Own the P&L for Solar & Storage, EV charger installation and related referrals.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and performance planning with senior finance and SLT.
• Drive improvements in unit economics and commercial decision-making.
• Develop supplier partnerships and manage risk across the supply chain.
• Coach and lead managers to deliver targets and ensure governance and transparency.
