Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking an interim Head of MIS for a college in Greater London. The role oversees the MIS function, reporting, funding planning and data management on a contract basis.

You will lead the MIS team, deliver strategic insights, ensure funding data accuracy, and provide high-quality management information to the Executive team and curriculum managers. A strong background in FE/HE funding and SQL/reporting tools is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MIS teams in FE/HE environments.
• Strong knowledge of funding methodologies and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to deliver strategic insights and reports.
• Advanced IT skills with SQL Server and reporting tools.
• Experience with funding reporting and compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MIS team in strategic initiatives and daily operations.
• Ensure that data requirements of funding organisations are met.
• Provide the Executive team and curriculum managers with accurate information and high-quality reports.
• Coordinate with other department heads to integrate MIS resources effectively.
• Ensure that curriculum managers receive accurate and timely management information.
• Contribute to the annual SAR process and Ofsted inspections.
