N/A in Richmond, South West London is seeking an experienced Head of MIS and Funding to lead the college's Management Information Services function. The role covers funding compliance, performance reporting and exams, with line management of MIS and Exams teams, reporting to the Vice Principal, Finance & Resources.

The candidate will oversee ILR submissions, data governance, and strategic data provision for Ofsted and Self-Assessment, while developing dashboards and maintaining QA with awarding

Qualifications

• Essential: leading an MIS function in FE setting
• Essential: knowledge of funding mechanisms and ILR validation
• Essential: data protection and FOI compliance for learner data
• Essential: strong IT skills across MIS systems and MS Office
• Essential: report writing and communication to senior stakeholders
• Essential: experience managing a senior-level team
• Essential: degree-level qualification or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of the MIS function and data governance
• Oversee accurate submission of ILR returns and funding audits
• Advise leadership on funding developments from DfE, DWP and GLA
• Lead data provision for Self-Assessment and Ofsted with curriculum partners
• Develop and maintain MIS portal for strategic decision-making
• Coordinate with awarding bodies on quality assurance
• Oversee exam compliance and malpractice procedures
• Support curriculum planning with the Vice Principal
• Manage departmental budget and staff development for MIS and Exams teams
