Job summary

Cheshire College South and West is recruiting two MIS Managers to oversee the MIS function across four campuses, with specialisms in funding/planning or data, reporting and development. They will join a new leadership structure to improve the college’s information environment.

The roles require MIS experience, strong leadership, data governance and knowledge of FE/Apprenticeships/HE funding methods. You will drive data quality and audit readiness across teams.

Qualifications

• Evidence of continuous professional development specific to this area.

• Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience of working with an MIS system.
• Knowledge of funding methodologies within FE, Apprenticeships and HE (P&F).
• Experience of working through internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership in the development and delivery of the MIS function across the college.
• Maintain, design and monitor processes and documentation for student data administration.
• Ensure student data is accurate and structured to meet funding body requirements.
• Be responsible for student data, processes and audit evidence.
• Review relevant systems and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Promote the importance of data use to teaching teams.
