Job summary

Blusource Finance Limited is assisting an ambitious SME group in the East Midlands to recruit an Interim Financial Controller / Group Accountant. The six-month contract is based between Nottingham, Leicester and Derby, and you will own group reporting and consolidations while working closely with the CEO and senior leadership.

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with multi-entity experience is required; you will improve processes, manage budgeting and cash flow, and support potential acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with multi-entity group reporting experience.
• Strong technical capability and commercial sense.
• Experience in consolidations within a multi-company/group environment.

Interim Financial Controller / Group Accountant

East Midlands 6 Month Contract Growing SME Group

Are you a qualified accountant who enjoys getting under the skin of a business, improving reporting and bringing structure to a growing finance function?

We are recruiting an Interim Financial Controller / Group Accountant for an ambitious, acquisitive SME group based between Nottingham, Leicester and Derby. Having expanded significantly over the last 12–18 months, the business now needs an experienced finance professional to take ownership of group reporting and help strengthen its financial processes and controls.

This is a genuinely hands-on role. You’ll work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, but you’ll also be comfortable getting into the detail – producing management accounts, consolidating multiple entities, improving processes and ensuring the numbers are accurate and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities will include:

We’re looking for an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with strong technical and commercial capability. Previous experience within a multi-company/group environment and consolidations is particularly important, alongside the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.

Experience of acquisitions,private equity or Power BI would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
