Job summary

apetito is seeking a detail-focused Food Technologist to join our UK head office in Trowbridge on a five and a half month fixed term contract. You will review and approve product and ingredient information, working with suppliers to ensure data is current and legally compliant.

You will support a wider Food Technology team, maintaining data integrity from concept to launch, balancing multiple projects and communicating with internal stakeholders to protect product quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in Food Manufacturing.
• Experience checking raw material specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Knowledge of Food Legislation for end consumer delivery.
• Competent with Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise a busy workload of specification reviews.
• Work with suppliers to prepare and maintain raw material specifications.
• Seek timely stakeholder approval of specifications.
• Keep raw material information up to date in internal systems.
• Maintain accurate information in product, recipe and specification records.
• Keep up with legislative changes and ensure compliance.
